Blog bio picture

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited that I finally got my new blog going!  Thank you to all of you that have supported me through my photography journey!  I love doing photography and even though it started out as just a hobby it has turned into quite a passion for me.  I have met the most wonderful people and have learned to see my city and the cities around me in a new light.  I love this new blog and I think you guys will too!  Please leave comments, I would love to see what you guys think about it.

Thanks!

The Two New Additions

Happy Fall!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this weather! It was so dang hot this summer I didn’t get the twins out much, but now that they are a little bit older, the weather is BEAUTIFUL, and things seem to be somewhat settling down I am going to try and start taking more pics of my little family! I also want to start a new blogging project……My PINTEREST Challenge!  I always see the cutest stuff, photographs, art projects, sewing projects….well if you love Pinterest like me, you know what I’m talking about.  I love coordinating the twins outfits and let me tell you it is next to impossible to find girl/boy matching clothes that don’t cost a fortune. So I decided I’ll just start making their things, I do have somewhat of a creative bug in me  : ) So here was the very first outfit I made for them.  I thought they turned out cute.  Anyways, I am going to take a project that I find on Pinterest and blog about my experience making it.  This is going to be fun…..first post should be coming soon!

Love this little boy’s smile!

Hopefully at our family photo session next week I can get them both smiling at once!  : )

I always wondered how the twins would interact.  Are they going to be a close sister and brother? Will Jackson and Jett protect her? Are they going to look alike?

Well I LOVE how when these two lay on the ground the first thing they do is grab each other’s hands.  Of course, this is probably because they are just starting to reach for objects, but as a mom, I would love to think it’s because  they want to touch/comfort each other.

I can’t wait until they are BOTH holding their heads up.  This is about as far as Lyla  can get at this point.  Still shows the cute little flower on her head, I was about to type in her hair, but she is lacking in that department right now.  ha ha ha

And finally here is me, (without make up and hair being done, which seems to happen a lot these days) with my twins and making his debut on my blog, Lucas Robert, one of best friends new addition.

Two Boys and a Lizard

So my son, who is SCARED of bugs, (my husband and I are trying to teach him that not aALL bugs are bad) decided that he wanted to play with a lizard that we found.  It was a big deal for me to pick it up, but trying to be brave for him I DID.  Not only was I proud of myself, I was SUPER proud of him!  The expression on his face is priceless!

I wonder what the official name of these lizards are…..we see them everywhere. We have one that lives outside our window and we just call him Alfred.

Sammy isn’t afraid of bugs, lizards, snakes…..really anything.

Love this one!

Fun, Fun Fun.  These boys definately keep us entertained!

I’m BACK

So it’s been a LONG time since I have posted anything on here!  I’ve been doing a few jobs here and there, but the two  new little guys in my life have kept me BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE what these two little additions have brought to my life!  I’m looking forward to getting back to blogging now that things have somewhat settled down, or at least what has become the new “norm” for my family of five.  I’ve got some new ideas on stuff to do and things to write about.  Stay tuned!

Will work for DIAPERS!!!!

So my mom wanted me to come and photograph the Seven Savvy Sisters Parelli Playday this past weekend. Instead of selling CD’s of the days images, they had a brilliant idea of each person that wanted a CD to donate a package of diapers to “the twin mommy”, me! It was super fun and super successful! Obviously photographing horses isn’t what I normally do, BUT I had a blast and met some GREAT people!  There were a ton of pics from that day, but I am just going to post a few of my favs. Be sure to go to my website and click on client proofing to view the full day of events.

Baby Addison

Baby Addison was only 10 days old when we did this photoshoot!!!  So sweet and so adorable.  She was the perfect baby hardly cried and once we finally got her to sleep she was OUT!!!!  Thanks so much for letting me photograph your new addition to the family!  She’s precious!!!

Natalie – 1 year old

Gosh, it has literally been three months since I have posted anything on here!!!! For those of you that don’t know my husband and I got the news in November that we are expecting TWINS!!!!! We are super excited, but had a few scares so I took some time off. I didn’t realize how much I missed photography!!!! I decided that it was time to get out and start shooting again and this was the perfect place and family!!! I’ve been shooting this family since Natalie was a newborn and this past weekend she turned ONE YEAR OLD!!! Happy Birthday Natalie! I can’t believe how fast time flies!!!! As usual, I’m posting a few of my favorites!!!!

Baby Kale

I can’t believe how fast this little boy is growing up!  Each time I see him, he just gets cuter and cuter!!!!  We did just a fun little session at my house a few days ago and came up with some pretty cute pics!!!  This little boy is gonna be a heartbreaker with those gorgeous blue eyes!!!!

Jackson and Me

So, this past weekend my awesome friend Nell went out and took pictures of Jackson and I! I was so excited because I never get to be on the other side of the lens, and actually it was a GREAT experience for me! If your wondering why there are a lot of kissing pictures it is because that was the only way I could get Jackson to look at me, oh well, I’ll take all the kisses he wants to give me because I know when he gets older, I’ll just be the embarrasing mommy! lol!!! These were my ultimate favorites!!! Thank you so much Nell!!!!!

Abbi and Sydney

I have been shooting these girls ever since Abbi was born, and this was my FAVORITE session! So cute and we had so much fun! Here are my favs!

The BOYS!!! Jackson and Sammy

This past week I decided that I wanted Fall pictures of my son and his best friend Sammy. We set up a little “set” outside my house and I LOVE LOVE LOVE these pictures! The two boys are the center of my life and I don’t know what I would do without them!
